One Proud Mama

My son is in the second grade.  He is 7 years old and just so talented!  When I was a kid I wasn't particularly good at anything it seems.  He is awesome at sports and is currently strutting his stuff in baseball and really proving to be a great player!

This week he was accepted into the gifted program at school after going through a testing process.  Some kids did not make it.  I probably would have not known about other children not making it had it not been for the angry parents at the office yelling at the teacher and administration for their children not placing.  They should be ashamed of themselves!

Also this week my son was given an award for his artwork.  He was the only second grader in the school to have artwork awarded and his artwork was displayed this past weekend at Panoply - our art festival each year.

 I am such a proud mom.  He is really doing so well on his own without this mom showing off at school and trying to buy his accomplishments or force them upon anyone!
